There are many ways to expand your current business. The downside is most of them will mean that you will also be expanding the amount of time you spend working. However, the internet is something special. The internet is special because you can expand your business tremendously, and if done the right way you can possibly even decrease your time spent working. The main way the internet can expand you business is the obvious. Hundreds of millions of people from all over the world use the internet on a daily basis. It's not hard to contact hundreds of people a day via My Space, if you know how.
I don't even want to think about how many people search for simple key words using the main search engines; google, yahoo, MSN... Every day! When you learn how to make the best use out of keywords and formatting your website, combine that with a massive article campaign for back linking and you may find your web site or much easier format your Squidoo page rising to the first page of google. I don't think free targeted traffic ever hurt any business.
It is true. The internet has made not only tech nerds into new blood millionaires but many other people of various and diverse talents have profited tremendously off of the internet. Why should your MLM business not profit off of the internet as well. I know MLM was nothing but a failure for me until I took advantage of the tools of our era. Why not you?

Their is a disadvantage many marketers may be unaware of to using some of the article directories as you suggested when you mentioned "massive article campaign for back linking". Many of them, including the mighty Ezine Articles, are using the html link attribute "nofollow" meaning that they do not give away any link "juice". Their links are worthless.
There is a solution that will supplement your back-links without having to write lengthy articles and submit them to the article directories as frequently. Social bookmarking using sites that do not use the "nofollow" attribute. Provide title, description, tags, and the url and you will have a collection of perfectly good back-links to the article that you are targeting. It takes me about 30 minutes to get 30 solid PR 4 - 7 backlinks from the social bookmarking sites.
